Lessons

Students learn the difference between types of information and examine the ways that information spreads via social media networks. Students practice assessing the validity of social media posts using the “evaluating information toolbox” introduced in the lesson. The lesson concludes by having students reflect on how the spread of information on social media impacts science and medicine.
